La Toscana

This family owned and operated Italian restaurant and bar has been delighting Marin diners since 1985. The Mori family wanted to create an atmosphere that reminded them of home – a place where locals would gather to eat, meet friends and family and celebrate with food and wine as every Italian family does. 

There’s more than one Super Tuscan listed on the wine card, a nod, like the pappardelle al cinghiale, to the owners’ heritage from a town northwest of Florence. This is one of the few restaurants in the area where the secondi menu includes a proper melanzane and pistachios and chocolate chips dot the cannoli. The bar is full-service and a nice spot to watch the game.
