Bring a taste of the Highlands to your Saturday night as The Tannahill Weavers take the stage at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley.
Born out of a 1968 pub session in Paisley, Scotland, and named for the town's weaving heritage and local poet Robert Tannahill, the band has spent close to 60 years fusing traditional Celtic tunes with driving modern rhythms. Their sets range from rousing instrumentals and original ballads to lullabies and funny tales of Scottish life. Inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2011, they celebrated their 50th anniversary with the album Òrach and followed it with the holiday record Solstice in 2024. The New York Times has praised their eloquent mix of old and new.
Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. This is an all-ages show, so grab your tickets and bring the whole family.
