For many, Swirl Frozen Yogurt in San Anselmo’s Red Hill Shopping Center has been a popular go-to destination for enjoying a refreshing treat after a baseball game, soccer match or just to simply satisfy a sweet tooth. Since 2011, the inviting fro-yo favorite has been serving up a host of delicious flavors to countless happy families.
In 2020 longtime Marin residents Alice Mead and Rick Flaster and their children, Justine and Aaron, bought the business and remain committed to continuing the same community-minded practices Swirl has been known for throughout the years. The family generously supports the San Anselmo Library and Ross Valley School District (among others) with coupons & gift certificates for their multiple kids’ programs.
It's mostly daughter and manager, Justine who is at the register ringing up sales for a choice of 10 rotating flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt. The wide range of froyo options include everything from dairy free and nonfat to vegan choices. There are 50 toppings including whipped cream, hot marshmallow sauce, fresh fruit, hot fudge, and gummy bears.

Along with the kid-in-a-candy-store vibe are two wide screen TV’s featuring happy Swirl customers enjoying their favorite flavors! Customers can send the owners their photos and may even see themselves on the big screen.
