Marin Art & Garden Center

Marin Art & Garden Center's Summer Concerts in the Garden returns every Thursday this August in their Redwood Amphitheater (5pm - 6pm). Here's your chance to listen to great music, dine al fresco, and sing/dance on a warm summer night in a beautiful setting.

This week's headliner is Gail Muldrow. Gail Muldrow offers an irresistible mixture of blues, funk, soul, r&b, rock, grunge, heavy metal … you name it. For Gail there are no boundaries and she knows how to blend all those musical genres into one original style. Subsequently, she belongs to those great Bay Area musicians who are difficult to place into one category. 

Bring a picnic, refillable water bottle, blanket, low-backed lawn chairs. Fox Pizza, Pond Farm Beer, and Bartholomew Estate wines will be available for purchase. There will be a KidZone with activities for the little ones.

Jazz and Blues by the Bay concert series is back at Sausalito's Gabrielson Park every Friday thru September 12th. 

This Friday's headliner is Edgardo Cambón y Su Conjunto LaTiDoThis Oakland based Latin music group is known for their intricate vocal harmonies, energetic conga drums, and the unique sound of the traditional Tres Guitar. The group has a wide repertorie of music, ranging from the Cuban flavor of the Buena Vista Social Club and salsa oldies like Rubén Blades and Cela Cruz to more recent songs by artists such as Marc Anthony, as well as their own original tracks.

San Anselmo Live On The Avenue, the popular summer entertainment series, continues this weekend. Concerts are held at Creek Park and the Town Hall Plaza between 6pm - 8:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Come on out to stroll, shop, dine, and dance on San Anselmo Avenue!  

Shana Morrison & Calendonia will be the headliner this Friday at Creek Park. Shana's musical style has been called pop with a side of blues and a side of rock, but she has never shied away from including other ingredients, like country, R&B, and jazz into the mix. And every once in a while, she might even sing a song or two by Van Morrison (her dad).

And on Saturday, Dennis Johnson & The Revelatorsthe slide guitar masters, will be rockin' the Creek Park stage.
