The Rundown

Established in 1987, Piatti is a beloved neighborhood destination for fresh, thoughtfully crafted Italian cuisine. The restaurant features a warm, inviting dining room, a cozy fireplace lounge, and a scenic waterfront patio with views of Mt. Tam.

The space blends classic Italian character with modern design—showcasing Venetian plaster walls, rich leather, bold hues, and refined walnut and brass accents. A lively central bar anchors the room, creating an ideal setting for both vibrant indoor dining and relaxed alfresco meals on the patio. Open daily for lunch and dinner, the menu spotlights pastas made by hand each day, a classic cocktail program and refreshed wine list.

Locals rave about the house made tortellini with lemon cream and citrus gremolata, bucatini carbonara, lasagna, roasted mushroom pizza with king trumpet & maitake mushrooms, and the roasted salmon with lemon risotto, broccolini, radicchio.

The Apertivo Hour menu features shareable bites like fried olives, parmesan fries, Sicilian pizza, and the pancetta cheeseburger.

Additionally, the neighborhood restaurant has launched Piatti Provisions, a to-go counter and retail experience allowing the purchase of artisanally crafted, house-made products such as signature sauces and fresh pasta, as well as the restaurant's signature dipping oil and wine.
