Get ready for some serious latke love! Chef Matt Shapiro leads a cooking class at the Community Teaching Kitchen at Homeward Bound of Marin on Friday, November 13, from 6–8:30pm, just in time for the holiday season.
You'll learn the secrets to perfectly crispy, golden potato latkes seasoned with onion, then branch out into some colorful twists: sweet potato latkes, zucchini parmesan latkes, and beet latkes topped with feta and fresh dill.
No latke is complete without its sidekicks, so you'll also whip up homemade crème fraîche and a quick applesauce from scratch.
