Get ready for a world-class evening of music on Saturday, September 27th at The Lark as composer Mariah Parker’s Indo Latin Jazz Ensemble takes the stage.
Their unique sound fuses the fiery rhythms of Latin jazz, the uplifting spirit of Eastern music, and the soul-stirring passion of flamenco — guaranteed to leave you exhilarated and inspired. Joining Mariah’s all-star band is special guest Grammy-winning drummer Mark Walker.
The evening will also include a heartfelt tribute to Bay Area legend Paul McCandless, who will be in attendance. A sneak peek trailer from Mariah’s upcoming documentary on his life and music will make this tribute extra special. With Walker on drums, fans of Oregon will recognize that half the band Oregon is “in the house” that night!
