HopMonk is the place to be on Friday, May 1st as Pardon the Interruption (PTI) takes the stage alongside April & Monroe Grisman for a night of electrifying live music.
PTI is a Bay Area band that boldly pays homage to the most iconic artists of the '70s, '80s, and '90s while producing entirely original material — it's nostalgically familiar yet completely fresh. Led by David Noble (of Wreckless Strangers, Poor Man's Whiskey, and Nina Hagen fame), this powerhouse ensemble blends funk, pop, ska, jam, prog, and rock 'n' roll into something truly special. The band features bassist Rob Fordyce, drummer Rob Hooper (the most in-demand Americana drummer in Northern California), and wild-card multi-instrumentalist Jamison Smeltz.
