Iko YaYa returns to Rancho Nicasio for an early dinner show on Sunday, April 12th.
Iko YaYa’s Louisiana-inspired sound—what they call “swamp ’n roll”—has been getting crowds on their feet for years. Expect a full plate of New Orleans-flavored dance gumbo: blues and boogie, Cajun and Zydeco, R&B, Second Line, and even a little country—all served up with a festive Mardi Gras vibe.
The band’s members are longtime veterans of some of the Bay Area’s favorite dance bands, including California Cajun Orchestra, SwingThing, CZ & The Bon Vivants, The Poyntlyss Sistars, Mark St. Mary, The California Blue Runners, and The Mangroves.
