Fairfax Festival and EcoFest

Sushi was originally invented as a means of preservation, during a time when fermented rice was used to store fish up to a year. And this Friday, The Fairfax Festival and EcoFest returns on Saturday & Sunday, June 7th and 8th. This family-friend outdoor events will feature Live Music, Beer & Wine, Food + Drinks, Arts & Crafts, Kids Entertainment, and a Flea Market featuring 40 independent vendors. 

The festivities kick off Friday evening (8:30pm) with a Family Film Night in the Ballfield. The annual parade takes place on Saturday morning (10am). Then get ready to enjoy two days of celebrating the good things in life and in Fairfax.

Come hear great local music at three stages, shop for crafts and flea market treasures, enjoy fresh, wholesome food, beer, wine tasting, entertain the kids in their expanded children’s area, and ponder social and environmental issues at the Ecofest. Once again they will have US PureWater filtered water stands so you can refill your water containers.

The Festival is put on by a volunteers group of friends and neighbors. So be sure to support your local craftspeople, artists, flea marketers, breweries, and food purveyors.
