Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department

The 49th Annual Muir Beach Volunteer Firemen’s Barbecue returns to Santos Meadow in Muir Beach on Sunday, May 28th. Enjoy delicious food, fantastic live music, tasty craft beers, premium wine, and a whole lot of fun for the family. The Firemen’s Barbecue is a festive gathering and fundraiser for the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department and a favorite Memorial Day Weekend tradition in Marin. Local favorites Andre Pessis and His All-Stars will be back to get the spirited crowd on the dance floor with their classic rock and R & B tunes. Pardon the Interruption, a 4-piece energetic Bay Area band will kick off the afternoon playing upbeat funk, rock, soul, reggae, and blues.

BBQ chicken and vegetarian tamale lunches, hand made desserts, plus sodas, beer and wine will be available for purchase, as are clothing and other items featuring the famous Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department iconic dog logo. The day’s activities end with a raffle for over 100 prizes.

Mill Valley Recreation & Community Center

Join Kiddo! for an old-fashioned Carnival this Memorial Day weekend at Mill Valley Middle School. There will be rides for all ages, plus food and games.  

Advance discounted ticket vouchers are $30 and may be turned in at the Carnival for a ticket book or for a one day wrist band for unlimited rides. Once the Carnival begins, wristbands will be $40. Food and games are extra.

Elks Lodge

Carnaval! will be performing as part of the Elk Lodge's Music in the Mansion concert series this Saturday. Come spend a magical evening listening to the music of Santana with Grammy winner Tony Lindsay, the voice that sang some of the greatest songs. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
