Marin Symphony kicks off its 2026 Masterworks concert series at College of Marin with Mozart and Beethoven on Saturday, January 10th - Sunday, January 11th

Music Director Fawzi Haimor leads the Marin Symphony in a celebration of three generations of musical brilliance—opening with Fanny Mendelssohn’s spirited Overture in C Major, followed by Mozart’s luminous Clarinet Concerto, performed by San Francisco Symphony Principal Clarinetist Carey Bell. The program culminates in Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, a work Maestro Haimor calls a personal favorite, renowned for its irresistible rhythms and exuberant spirit.

The Renegade Orchestra will present a revolving set of music all based on the sounds of the SF Bay Area on Sunday, January 11th at the Fairfax Pavilion.

The show will feature pieces written by famous Bay Area rock bands or even just recorded in the Bay Area. These are classic tunes reimagined like Jefferson Airplane’s Somebody to Love, It’s a Beautiful Day’s White Bird, and even some orchestral punk by the Dead Kennedys.

The Fairfax Pavilion is a historic venue where all the 60's greats like Janis Joplin played.
