We serve authentic Mexican and Salvadorean food. Some of the recipes are actually Margarita Almendare's(owner) mom's recipes. We first opened 32 years ago in 1979. We are the oldest family owned Mexican Restaurant in Marin County.
We have a pretty big menu and offer a large variety of vegetarian dishes. Everything we serve is fresh. We make everything ourselves - nothing comes out of a can! We only use free range chicken and we do not use lard in our beans. No lard used no cultures abused. For vegetarians, we recommend the Enchilada Vallarta (filled with plantains covered in mole), as well as the Vegetarian Flauta. For meat-lovers, we recommend the Gallina en mole, the Pork Fajitas, and the Green Carnitas Enchilada. And you can never go wrong with our Combination plates. All of our food is deliciously authentic!
