Tuesday nights get a little more musical at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley as the venue opens its stage to local talent for a free Open Mic Night hosted by Caroline DeLone. Whether you're a seasoned songwriter or stepping up to the mic for the first time, this is your chance to play the same room as some of the Bay Area's best.
Each performer gets two songs or ten minutes, and the house provides a drum kit, piano, guitar amp and bass amp, so you can travel light. To snag a slot, email openmic@sweetwatermusichall.org between 6 PM the night before and 3 PM the day of the show; slot requests are welcome but not guaranteed, and confirmations go out by 5 PM. The music starts at 7 PM. Come to play, or just come to listen and cheer on your neighbors.
