Jazz and Blues by the Bay concert series is back at Sausalito's Gabrielson Park every Friday thru September 12th. 

This Friday's headliner is RHYTHMTOWN-JIVE. This exciting American roots combo is recognized nationally for their versatility and outstanding skill. San Anselmo Live On The Avenue, the popular summer entertainment series, continues this weekend. Concerts are held at Creek Park and the Town Hall Plaza between 6pm - 8:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Come on out to stroll, shop, dine, and dance on San Anselmo Avenue!  

Jenerator will be the headliner this Friday at Creek Park. This popular Americana/blues/jam-rock collective is headed by bassist/singer/songwriter Jen Rund. Their debut album, Home In Here, features 11 of Jen's original songs, brought to life by some of the Bay Area's premier players.

And on Saturday eve, the Scott Amendola Trio will be jammin' at Town Hall Plaza.

Enjoy a family-friendly, multi-cultural night of vibrant Afro-Cuban and pan-African music, food and dancing as Summer Nights returns to Osher Marin JCC's large outdoor field this Saturday.

Since forming his Los Angeles-based band Makina Loca in 1990, Ricardo Lemvo has refined his craft and vision, raising his joyous voice with strength to sing songs that celebrate life, and most importantly, inspire his audiences to let loose and dance away their worries.

SOUL SKA is the headliner of Rancho Nicasio's BBQ on the Lawn show this Sunday with special guests Beso Negro. 

SOUL SKA is a Bay Area collective with a fresh take on the classic ska/rocksteady idiom. The 10 piece band is comprised of veteran members of Bay Area bands such as Vinyl, Stymie & the Pimp Jones Love Orchestra, The Right Time, Albino!, El Radio Fantastique, Jethro Jeremiah Band and more. Drawing equally from the original Jamaican first wave as well as the British second wave, the band’s rootsy, upbeat sound leans heavily on vocal harmony and a three-piece horn section.

Corte Madera Community Foundation

Corte Madera's Summer Concert Series returns with a variety of musical talent. Enjoy a free outdoor show every Sunday (5pm - 6:30pm) thru August 24th in Menke Park.

This week's headliner is Walking Mirrors. Formed by singer songwriter Mark Nelson and Craig Bartock (lead guitarist for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee band HEART), Walking Mirrors features some of the North Bay's top rock musicians. Their music is heavily influenced by the raw energy of the Rolling Stones and storytelling and approachability of Tom Petty. The band is led by Craig’s ripping guitar tones and overall musical direction, and Mark's carefully crafted story-telling and raw vocals.

Cotati Music Festival

The 34th Annual Cotati Accordion Festival returns this weekend! The two-day, multicultural, multi-generational accordion extravaganza is held in La Plaza Park in downtown Cotati.

Music at the festival ranges from Conjunto to folk, jazz, Irish, Venezuelan, rock, classical, zydeco, western and more. The event includes a Jam Tent, a Zydeco Dance Party, a Student Stage, the Ray's Deli Stage, and two main stages, along with over 60 vendors selling crafts, accordions, food, wine and beer.

If you have ever wondered what it sounds like to hear a large chorus of accordions playing “Lady of Spain,” dance the polka to your heart’s content, or enjoy hearing musicians perform a wide variety of music on this versatile instrument, The Cotati Accordion Fest is the place for you.
